Brenda,
I agree with you 100%. Nearly everything I've seen here is gossip -- though not
all of it is negative. When I signed on to this list, I was hoping to participate
in some discussion of metaphysical principles, techniques, enlightenment, cosmology,
etc. Instead, as you say, it is mostly gossip with an occasional quotation regarding
some dogma (ie. the writer is quoting someone else's works without adding anything
useful). Of course, I have not offered any original thoughts or experiences myself,
either, so I'm not in any position to cast blame on anyone, just making an observation.
