STOP THE INUNDATION

Dear Theosophy Friends,
I have been watching a trend on Theos-world for some time now with great
dismay. This trend is the growing FLOOD of e-mail messages. Currently on my
computer I do not have a "filter" where I can avoid downloading anything in
my mailbox. Which means that whatever you write, I *must* download when I
sign on, and I pay for the downloads by the minute.
on about 24 hours ago.
I find this, in a word, excessive.
Recently, in one of the rare messages I actually read, someone suggested that
we self-regulate and send only one message to Theos-World a day. I heartily
second this notion. While I enjoy many messages on this list, and when I
have a free moment (which is rare during a school session) I sometimes
contribute. But if the uncontrollable flood of e-mail doesn't stop, I will
be forced to sign off the list. Today 61 messages, tomorrow 70, the next day
80. I think enough is enough folks.
Sincerely,
Rich Taylor
