And it has been proven to be an important part of evolution.
Prophets, Gurus and messengers such as Jesus, Buddha, Muhammed
and many others have come to reveal the truth and the path - but
not in a final format - because that can never be done.
Depending on the state of consciousness and the cultural
foundation in general the "revelation" of truth will take on a
new face, and content. There is a master plan for the raising of
life on this planet to higher level of consciousness. From time
to time new impulses can be delivered to humanity as a whole or
subsections thereof. If we argue that there is so much to ponder
and realize in the original Theosophical works that it will more
than suffice, we could argue likewise regarding the Bible, Koran,
etc.

One does not have to exclude the other.

"Theosophy" seems to benefit some students spiritual evolution
but tend to slow others down.
