Rodolfo Don:

My opinion was different. First of all, Carl Sagan, a
fundamentalist atheist, must be spinning in his grave over the
changes they made from his book. Secondly, the movie had the
level of philosophical sophisticaton of the average Disney movie.
My wife and I broke out into laughter several times about the
sophomoric level of the dialogue, especially the mistatement of
Occam's Razor (and that an expert on the social effects of
technology had never heard of it), and the simplistic discussions
of God.
