Clones

I am resending this since I sent this to the wrong place the
first time.

The idea that the human clone will not have a soul is ridiculous.
However a human being came to be created, if s/he has the faculty
for intellect and feeling, then s/he has asoul. To me, a clone
is like an identical twin of the original, with the exception
that it is much younger. The only way for a human clone to not
have a soul, is if scientists have decided to remove the
development of the brain, in the brave new world hope of having
ready made transplant organs for the original (awful!). Okay, so
we can clone more advanced creatures. We have satisfied our
curiosity. Let's not go any further with this deviation from
nature.

However, if for some dastardly reason, human clones became a
fact, let's not forget that they are full human beings. Whether
an egg was fertilized in a test tube, or made null and then
implanted with specific genetic makeup, the result is still a
human being. The clone should not be made a secondary human
being who will act as slaves, extra body parts, or laboratory
curiosity. Any idea that s/he is less than full-fledged human is
disrespectful toward his/her life.
