Re:Voluspa - 7th race

This is my last post on the Voluspa as there are no more stanzas
after these. I want to precede the stanza concerning the meeting
of the Aesir (Gods) which begins "At Ithervale the Aesir meet:"
by three stanzas. Here there is a symbolism that is noteworthy.

> Now death is the portion of doomed men,
> Red with blood the buildings of the Gods
> etc.

This to me suggests that here we have fully embodied adepts whose
blood is flowing within their physical bodies. Of course, men
have passed out (or are in the process of doing so) and are
reaching for the second ascension. What follows after the 7th
race is a period of time dwelling within the "Great Central Sun"
before man again begins his return to physical embodiment through
the previously known dinosaur. However we do not know how far
the previous dinosaur has progressed in his pilgrimage he may
have even attained the level of mammal on his own which was what
the dinosaur was shown how to do in this our round.

The symbolism is somewhat supported by the Voluspa because
coincidentally, there is mention of both sun and earth changes.

Continuing with the above stanza:

> The Sun turns black in the summer after,
> Winds whine. Well, would you know more?
>
> Earth sinks in the sea, the Sun turns black,
> Cast down from heaven are the hot stars,
> Fumes reek, into flames burst,
> The sky itself is scorched with fire.
>
> I see Earth rising a second time
> Out of the foam, fair and green;
> Down from the fells, fish to capture,
> Wings the eagle; waters flow.

Next is the stanza concerning the line where "the Aesir meet"

Next stanzas:

> Boards shall be found of a beauty to wonder at
> Boards of gold in the grass long after,
> The chess-boards they owned in the olden days.
>
> Unsown acres shall harvests bear,
> Evil be abolished, Baldur return.
> And Hropt's Hall with Hoddur rebuild,
> Wise Gods. Well, would you know more?

(This symbolism of the chess-boards is found again in the early
stanzas right after the first gathering of the Gods in council.)
Perhaps it can be equated with a time when there is no evil or
"little evil" because of man's closeness with the "Great Central
Sun." The fourth race is a peculiar time when man is without the
pairing on either side of the spiral. There is no descent being
accomplished through the animal kingdom and no ascent by aid from
the adept kingdom. So man is solely paired with the light from
God both in the fourth race and for the period of time when his
sojourn returns him to his spiritual home before the next
descent.)

(Baldur is mentioned previously in the fifth race as being
"felled." Here is the reference.)

> Baldur I saw, the bleeding God,
> His fate still hidden, Odin's son:
> Tall on the plain a plant grew,
> A slender marvel, the mistletoe.

> From that fair shrub, shot by Hoddur,
> Flew the fatal dart that felled the God,
> But Baldur's Brother was born soon after:
> etc.

(This again shows that Baldur is living during the fourth and the
end of the seventh races.)

Here is the last stanza which was my purpose in presenting the
entire myth. I love the reference relating man's new
relationship with the Dragons of old.

> Now rides the Strong One to Rainbow Door,
> Powerful from heaven, the All-Ruler.
>
> From the depths below a drake comes flying,
> The Dark Dragon from Darkfell,
> Bears on his pinions the bodies of men,m
> Soars overhead. I sink now.

There are a few simple concepts that greatly alleviate my
confusion over certain theosophical discussions.

1) Adepts are men. True or False. They are currently only
residing and working through the bodies of men. They have their
own forms but by the process of simultaneous descent and ascent
are changing our forms greatly to become closer to theirs. So
long as only human bodies exist on earth, Adepts live through and
in a manner of speaking "are" men.

2) In the sixth root race, typified by H.P.B.'s person, the
adepts become more visible and tangible, aiding and communicating
both as recognized separate beings and through man's own
heart-felt "ascension" of his mind, body, and feelings.

3) H.P.B. had "splits" with the adepts within her because they
could separate and converse with her. This constant "pairing and
splitting" or "doubling and recognizing the presence of a
completely advanced being" is typical of a sixth root race being
and someday we will all be in this condition.

4) When Paul Johnson mentions humans who he wishes to recognize
as Morya and Kuthumi it become a possibility for me, because I
can't see any reason why the "fluid" bodies of the adepts would
have to be limited to one person. They could work through many
individuals simultaneously.

The end.
