Philosophical Holism or another kind of Theosophy ?

I just came across the following website...

The following might be of interest to some readers:

Here is an example for the year 2012 - the yearly conference:

There seem to be a number of such and similar organizations growing forth around the globe. Ie. holistic or non-sectarian more or less - or open-minded philosophical in nature.
The question is why most of them, apperently, are happy about operating for themselves in stead of joining in with others - in a open non-sectarian spirit? - Is it prejudice or intolerance or lack of boldness --- to go where none has gone before?
