Why not link JK's Foundation with other organisations in the passage in mention?
With regard to strawberries - I would say:
There is a time, a place and circumstances for strawberries - and all other kinds of berries, fruits, and in fact all and everything. And also the opposite.
Please do not misunderstand me.
What is assumed to be compassion by some is not so to others. Or merely compassion on a lower level.
Real compassion is beyond words and thought.
Altruism begin with the individual - not with religious leaders telling you what to think or do, or a Guru (Messiah) telling you what to think or do (whether in a new-age school as a child or in a religious organisation etc.) - and thereby effectively conditioning the thought-pattern of the individual. A thought-pattern, that need to change psychological - so to improve in altruism. - That is why I recommend - absolute non-sectarian organisational activity - and not a semi-version thereof.
I do not aim at having the journalists, the scientists, dogmatics, and others telling me that I am promoting a sectarian activity - among all the other sectarian activities (New Age, dogmatic religions, "or those theosophical groups pretending to be non-sectarian, but which in fact only are half-hearted in their attempts" etc., etc.) on this planet.
Real altruism operates through a non-sectarian activity. This must be true.
However, not all altruistic activity or living operates by being a member of an non-sectarian organisation (unity in the aim of altruism is strength) - although such an organisation - is a great aid in keeping the balance between the many sectarian groups and even cults - versus - the few whole-hearted non-sectarian attempts on this planet.
But these are only my views.

I am not sure what point you are making by linking JK's ideas with other teachers.
Let me give you, what I believe is an example of true altruism. A friend brought a punnet of strawberries to our lunch table - he offered the strawberries to everyone, and all of us said, thankyou, but you enjoy them. Without hesitation, he replied I cannot enjoy them unless I share the pleasure of them with others.

If we all would listen to the wisdom of psychology and non-sectarian communication a lot might be helped along. But these are just my views.
