K School at Damodar Gardens - Update

Here is another news item about the proposal floated by the Krishnamurti
School. However, it has been turned down.

The proposal from the school is just another ploy to keep the K school in
Damodar Gardens. The decision of TS to use the space to expand the
curriculum of Olcott school by offering vocational education is going to
benefit the poor students from the fishermen village and provide help to
the needy and poor segment of the population.

On the other hand, most of the students attending the K school are children
of wealthy parents. Probably most of us including myself could not afford
to send our kids to K school because it is very pricey.

For once, the GC Council has acted theosophically and I am sure Olcott
would be very happy to see his school getting expanded to meet the needs of
the poor children in Adyar, and not the children of the fatcats.
