She wasn't a communist leader in a literal sense but she was a daughter of the Bulgarian leader Todor Zhivkov and took some important office, minister of culture or something like that. She developed deep interest to the Roerichs teaching and tried to inculcate it in the Bulgarian society. Her inexpected death has put the end for these attempts. Some people say that it was not an accident but the operation of the secret services. There is a book by Sidorov dedicated to her relations with Vanga but it is available only in Russian and Bulgarian. If a translations to some western laguagr exits, probably it would be the German.
