Some ideas on Marketing

Hi
Many publishers print advance copies of their book and send them to
important authors in the field and publications for review. Usually these
copies are marked "Not for Resale". These generate comments, reviews and
criticisms which get published in magazines and other venues and help bring
publicity to the publication. Since it is done ahead of the actual release
of the book, by the time the release takes place, some of the feedback is in
and helps to provide publicity.
I am not sure what has been done to in this direction for your new book -
Krotona, Theosophy and Krishnamurti. It is not even late to do something.
I am sure your publisher does not have the financial resources that
commercial entities normally have. I am sure you have an electronic copy of
the book in pdf format. If not, it is a snap to produce one. If you have any
technical questions, I can help or we can find answers from friends of mine.
The electronic copy can be sent to authors, and publications for their
review and this would be very inexpensive. This can be sent with a note that
no permission is given for making additional copies, which most recipients
would honor.
You may want to share this with the persons handling the marketing and
publicity of the book.
Just my 0.02.
