Yes.
But despite this, it still seems that the Asuramaya calculations were more precise than any - when we consider that some say that Asuramaya lived before the end of the Atlantean times. Some even say that the calculations are 2 million years ago. Yet, the area around Guatemala and Mexico was a part of Atlantis in the old days, says Blavatsky in her writings. And that part belonged to those who performed the negative magi, whereas in India with Asuramaya it was the opposite. And Blavatsky mentiones in the Secret Doctrine, that poleshifts have ocurred on the planet, and that Venus have changed is rotation. So this might change the overall views and the calculations. And there are esoteric numbers and exoteric numbers. It all depends in the level of knowledge and compassion.

  Chuck, Morten,
There were recent major decipherment discoveries in regard to the correct meaning of the Mayan Glyphs. Google "Micheal D. Coe" Title "Breaking the Maya Code". In his work their research team uses 3114 B.C. as the Start of the "Long Count Dates", P. 62. There are also some online Video's of "Breaking the Maya Code".

No shock at all. The Greeks could do the same thing. The math is
actually pretty simple, all that it took was a lot of years of observation.

  The Hindu Calendar

To many in the West, the Hindu Calendar will be a shock in that they have
been able to compute precisely the astronomical events and times for
thousands of years past and future. I ran into an article from âThe
Theosophyâ in a blog. I am sure many will find it fascinating reading.
