Have we not seen how governments react when one of theirs is caught doing
something unlawful at the behest of the country? We have also seen all the
tall political talk about the values of democracy and when some mass cruelty
goes on against peaceful people - Tibetans are perhaps the most non violent
in the world - everyone is silent since there is no self interest. I hope
there is enough momentum in the west to counteract against such cruelty. May
be it is time we not buy goods made by the regimes behind the cruelty.
