Re: theos-talk Trend in Krishnamurti Material may be foreshadowing the future spiritual msg distribution for free

We will have to wait and see how the market develops.
On the other hand, entities like theosophical and JK have a very much
smaller audience and hence they have to adopt a different model. For
example, a catfat can underwrite a book and make it available to anyone for
free. The object of these types of organizations is spread the message and
of course try to cover the cost in a way different from that of commercial
enterprises. So long as spiritual entities concentrate on managing money as
their primary activity, then it is a different story.
When TS was started, both the founders were poor and penniless and now many
sections have millions of dollars in assets and these assets have not
spurred the activities of the sections. On the contrary, allegations of
non-transparency from long time members are there. Recently there was a
letter from a well known member in England to the GC in this regard. After
the sale of Tekels Park, it is perhaps richest section and as far as the
membership count is concerned it is following the trend of the fall of
British Empire!
Let us wait and see the developments.
