Bah I think he had a point. Many people have a virtual life, and no life at
all. They do so many things online and spend so many hours on the pc everyday.
E-mails can be a serious problem, many years ago (2002-4), when I was active in
many online groups, I needed like 3 or 4 hours everyday to keep up with
everything and with personal e-mails as well. I still recall having to check
500-700 hundred e-mails on daily basis. Till I decided to reduce drastically my
online activities. I think its a matter of learning how to deal with the
virtual world, in a healthy way. Except one is a professional and lives of work
on the net, I think to spend more than two hours -on daily basis- on e-mails and
stuff like that is very unhealthy. I say two hours, because that is the minimum
I need. :)

Ah Erica, this guy just hasn't learnt how to multi-function. Also there is some
control issues. People that read, often say, I can't put the book down until it
is finished. 90 percent of emails require little forethought and those 10
percent that do often require us to research the subject in order to learn
more. I didn't listen to the full hour but I would think that texting by the
younger generation is more cause for concern as they not only have distorted the
language but compulsively answer every text. I have seen many that cannot allow
their mobile phone to ring out but have a need to respond immediately as if the
world required their immediate attention. These people have to learn to get
over themselves! lol
