Recently, I was discussing the brahmin caste issue with a friend of mine in
the USA. It was very revealing when he mentioned that out of the 10 Avatars
mentioned in the Hindu Scriptures, only one of them was a brahmin. Many of
them belong to Kshatriya (warrior) class. Two of the most revered avatars,
Rama and Krishna is an example. Rama was a King and Warrior class and
Krishna was a cowboy class. Thought some in the west may be interested.
