Any intelligent thinking person who has been exposed to theosophy, does 
his/her own thinking and comes to his/her own conclusions and acts 
accordingly. This is not easy. 

He/she does not look to anyone for guidance (spiritual or otherwise); no 
matter who the person is; holder of any office, politician, professor, elder 
or anything else. 

When other factors get in, such as food and shelter, money, property, 
platform, livelyhood, future progression in titles, etc., one gets 
handicapped and cannot act freely and creatively.
