...and what about that poor student who downloaded an article on women's rights (or lack thereof) in Afghanistan and was given the death sentence, but now commuted to 22 years imprisonment.  

It is barely fathomable to us in the west that this thinking is predominant in others.  As KH or was it Morya said, religion is the source of all evil in the world.
