Frank,
I beg to disagree in regard to your comments about there are no slavonIc Race or People. The Germans historically when frightened silly by the Slaves and eternally terrified of them thats why they hated them and wanted to exterminate the "Glorious Race" from antiquity. here is a great webpage to illustrate my viewpoint lol!

Here is a very excellent mapping website of the Slavic Peoples

Slavic Peoples - Wikipedia

I also recommend the Books of Sir Mark Aurel Stein on his Silk Route Expeditions and his benchmark research on peoples origins. Notice on the above webites mapping graphics that poor little Germany seems so small in comparison. The Germans were terrified of the Slaves (The Glorious Race of Antiquity) which is why they tried to exterminate them as policy of the Third Reich. Not to mention all the other people they tried to murder lol! Btw, here is a link for the Google Images Listing for "Church Slavonic":

Church Slavonic

Notice the mention and dating of 9th Century AD. I don't remeber the exact date when there fist appeared and actual "German Nation" on the continent of Europe but wasn't it long after the 9th Century AD? There werre about 15 eternally warring German ethnic "Kingdoms" who predisposed to trying to kill each for considerable time but back then there wasn't any German nation if I recall.

Also My Dictionary of Linguistics has listings for :
Slavic
Balto-slavic
Church Slavic
East Slavic
West Slavic
North Slavic
They are called "Indo-European" peoples Blavatsy makes mention of Indo-European if I recall right.

" A Dictionary of Linguistics" Mario A. Pei and Frank Gaynor, Columbia University, Philosophical Library, 1954.

Regards,
John

Anand has made many many assertions.

For example, he wrote once:

---------------------------------------------------------
It means we can't assume that Mahatma Letters were accurate
transcription of Masters words.
---------------------------------------------------------

There were many hands on the manuscripts from co-workers and type-setters,
before HPB's books were ready.
They have created some errors like Olcott in Isis Unveiled or Besant in the
3rd edition of the SD or Voice.

In the SD there are some stronge obviously errors which are unlikely from
HPB.
For example the Slavonian descent of Leibniz in SD 1, 628 Fn.

The theory of a Slavonian race was in HPB's days the latest cry in science
and let to the pan-slavonic imperialism and false claims of territories.
This theory was from a large part developed by Herder, who was not a
historian and not a linguist and misinterpreted mediveal texts.
A slavonian race or people or nation never existed, it is clear from
historical and linguistic proofs, but survives today for politicla reasons.
The communists were main promoters of the Slavonian theory.

Strange, that HPB seems to support this maya. It is as strange as to find in
one memo of Gottfried de Purucker his alleged secret support of the strange
ideas of the known black propaganda faker Hermann Rauschning.

Obviously here had other persons their dirty hands in the play.

Frank
