Glad to see your message.
.
The crisis that started with the election last year has not gone away. Hence
if members keep quiet, there is opportunity for people to take advantage of
the quietness and secrecy with which administrative matters are handled in
the general council and the general lack of transparency, and lasting harm
to be done to the TS.
Vigilance on the part of members is essential to prevent any harm. In
addition, anyone new to the list may find it difficult to clearly understand
the various developments and the issues involved. So, a frequent reiteration
of the summary is needed and it also makes it easy to find all the
information self-contained in the message.
.
Many participants, for various reasons do not participate and that is
understandable. There are however, some new participants suspected of using
pseudonyms, to avoid personal responsibility for what they write and after a
short time, they tend to disappear when they fear they would be discovered
and embarrassed.
.
Due to miniscule number of theosophists in the world, the likely hood of
such a discovery is very high. It is also suspected that there are some, who
are too scared of even using pseudonyms thus resort to using catâs paws to
make their case and this makes the catâs paws appear very knowledgeable and
important and make them feel good . It is also likely that due to the
specific detailed knowledge and tell-tale style of writing, some sharp
readers may be able to identify the real personality behind such messages.
.
Any theosophist worth his/her salt, should post msgs under their own name
and take full responsibility for what they write. Most do it on this and
other theosophical forums.
