One also should keep in mind that in the hindu religion.. generally one tends to do jaap ( recitng mantra or some deity's name) most of the time .. and so remains connected to his God all the time. An outward ritual or action doe not necessarily mean you are more religious. Similarly .. there may be Christians who rarely attend church .. but at a Humane and spiritual level are far more advanced compared to those who mechanically ... regularly attend church.
