There are many lineage claims. But still for all practical purposes it is more sensible to assume that when word Theosophy is used, it should refer to writings of major writers in that particular lineage. This means Theosophy will mean different for different lineages. But still my definition of Theosophy is more sensible position than saying "TS does not define which writing is Theosophy. Every member of TS has freedom of thought and so, what everybody in TS says is Theosophy" Practically such argument does not make much sense.
