Let me add an interesting episode that I read several years ago.
A group of missionaries went to  Amazon (I think) and found an isolated
tribe living peacefully. One thing the missionaries did not like was that
the women did not wear anything on their upper body. So the missionaries
decided to civilize them. On next visit they took with them a lot of T
shirts. The tribe happily accepted them. Six months later, the  missionaries
revisited them to see how things are. All the women were still wearing the T
shirts and were happy to meet the missionaries. But there was one odd thing.
There were round cutoff of the T shirts exposing their boobs. Missionaries
were shocked and did not know what to do. Probably it would be ok there; but
not in your city.
