Theos-World Re: Where is TS heading?

In online groups there are often members coming from very different backgrounds and philosophical inclinations. In physical groups this diversity is less. In online groups diversity is more and opinions of members differ widely. Because of these differences, in online forums chances of clashing of opinions are more. It makes group verbal battlefield. Majority people avoid battles, whether verbal or physical or of any other kind. To avoid battles they may simply watch.
In all online groups we see that only few individuals participate regularly and confidently. Out of four hundred members there may be only thirty members who dare to write in groups.

There are many members who are not confident of their knowledge and so they avoid writing and looking ignorant. They prefer to simply watch, just as in any physical meetings many people fear to talk.

In future also I think only small percentage of people will talk in forums. This small bunch consists of people who are confident about their writing skill, knowledge and have thick skin. Thick skin enables one to continue participation despite attacks from other members. If a person does not have thick skin, after two three embarrassing experiences he/she will stop writing in online groups.
