On this I need to comment.
The membership in India has been steadily growing, making it the largest
Section in the world. This simply shows that TS is alive and well in India.
It is also vibrant and dynamic in India.
The situation outside India is sad. In the Dutch Section, no new lodge has
been chartered in the last 50 years. In the South African Section, first new
lodge in 58 years was chartered last year. In the USA, the current
membership is about the same as it was in 1920s.
Each of us can draw our own conclusion about the state of affairs of TS
around the world.
