Jesus and Blavatsky

Anand,
Why do I promote Blavatsky's teachings instead of Jesus' teachings?
Well, for one, I do not believe in most of the teachings of Christianity --- at least not literally. Do you?
Most Christians I know believe in an eternal heaven and eternal hell. Or some believe in a physical resurrection.
I don't accept these teachings, do you?
Also most of these Christians believe only in the Christian Bible and regard the sacred writings of other religions as "pagan", or "Satanic" or at least not true.
Again I don't accept this line of thinking. Do you?
At least after having read and studied HPB's writings, I acquired a deep interest in studying ALL of the religions of the world --- not just Christianity and I've been doing that for several decades.
Currently I am working on a webpage of recommended books on the religions of the world, east and west, ancient and modern.
If anything, I encourage the comparative study of religions, so why would I want to encourage the exclusive study of the Christian teachings?
Maybe you need to inform yourself more about Christianity. A good book for you to read and re-read might be:
Why I Became an Atheist: A Former Preacher Rejects Christianity
by John W. Loftus

Now if I was going to promote Christianity it would be more of the variety of Christianity found in John Rossner's book. See:

This will do for now.
