Compare Coulomb's "Story" with Olcott's Testimony

First read what Coulomb and Hodgson wrote about the appearances of
the Mahatmas. This can be found on our website at:

? The Testimony of Emma Coulomb & Richard Hodgson Concerning the
Appearances of the Mahatmas
http://blavatskyarchives.com/coulombandhodgson.htm

Now compare and contrast their "explanations" for the Mahatmas with
Colonel Olcott's actual testimony which I have compiled in the
following 2 webdocuments:

? Colonel Henry S. Olcott's Testimony about His Meetings with the
Master Morya
http://blavatskyarchives.com/olcottandmahatmas.htm

? Henry S. Olcott's Testimony: Nine Accounts of Meeting Masters and
Adepts
http://blavatskyarchives.com/olcottaccounts.htm

As far as I can tell, Emma Coulomb's and Richard Hodgson's
supposed "explanations" completely fail to adequately explain Colonel
Olcott's detailed testimony concerning his encounters with the
Masters.

If all of the appearances had been in the distance and in the dark,
one might suppose that the Colonel might have been deceived. But in
these close encounters in regularly lighted rooms and even in
daylight and in conversation with the Mahatmas, it is hard to believe
that a "doll" or Mr. Coulomb in the described "costume" could have
fooled Colonel Olcott.

Read also Mrs. Besant's two defenses of her teacher Mme. Blavatsky
against the charges of Coulomb and Hodgson. They can be found on our
website at:

The Coulomb Case: Some Suggested Reading --- Pro and Con

"...none but the logician, the investigator, the
dauntless explorer should meddle with books like this.
Such delvers after truth have the courage of their opinions." H.P.

"...Contrast alone can enable us to appreciate things
at their right value; and unless a judge compares notes
and hears both sides he can hardly come to a correct decision." H.P.
