5. Right Livelihood

Right livelihood means that one should earn one's living in a righteous way and that wealth should be gained legally
and peacefully. The Buddha mentions four specific activities that harm other beings and that one should avoid for this
reason: 1. dealing in weapons, 2. dealing in living beings (including raising animals for slaughter as well as slave trade
and prostitution), 3. working in meat production and butchery, and 4. selling intoxicants and poisons, such as alcohol
and drugs. Furthermore any other occupation that would violate the principles of right speech and right action should
    be avoided.
Most of todays worldpopulation is just doing the above: killing and harming eachother and any other living being...where does it stop?

Ethical Conduct
As a follow up to my discussion about sexual taboos, more than a year ago, I have been thinking about the following:Since a male human can reproduce the whole world population say in a few 100 orgasms, 1 male need only a few 100 women to do so in a few 100 years. On the other hand Nature has had people invent in science what drugs are produced in our brain and scientists have already synthesized this information into pills which can have people longlive for ages.Humanity is safeguarding seeds from plants in an icemountain in Norway.
This means, Nature can always follow the most drastical plan on this planet and wipe out the whole world population and start allover again. In fact Nature had people invent weapons of mass-destruction, which can easily destroy humanity in the blink of an eye...Nature has this plan already on the table.Don't forget the great Flood was the previous way to wipe out humanity...
Questions arise: Will we cause Nature to do such a thing and when?Who will be chosen to survive? How will the chosen ones build the new world on past experiences? There are more questions, so please fill me in on this subject. In our universe are many avatars and the strongest One has a backup for the whole Universe...imagine the possibilities...
