What a change.

About a decade ago, when Fax was already the most frequently used electronic
medium of communication, I had this very interesting experience with a
well-known older theosophist who was one of the elected leaders.

 Whenever, I faxed this theosophist any communication, the reply was always
polite, business like and prompt. But it was nicely printed in the official
letterhead using a laser printer mailed by postal mail.

I even suggested how fax saves in paper and postage. (I was using fax for
speed and saving of mailing cost since it was coming from my pocket, and for
me speed and cost-effectiveness was very important.) The theosophist did not
seem to care about the cost since it was paid from the TS treasury.
