In a recent Zogby poll, it was found that Most Consider the Web  Most
Reliable Source of News compared to other media including print  media.

This should come no surprise to theosophists.

Those who  have been following the various developments in TS, starting with
the  nominations and nominators in the election, know that but for the Web,
TS  would look very different from what it is now.

Since the transactions  of the GC are cloked in secrecy, a small clique of
theosophical "leaders"  would be close to seizing the control of the
organization so that TS would  look more like the Catholic Church and the
President would be elected just  like the Pope's selection with a fig leaf of
transparency and  democracy.

Since the motto of TS is THERE IS NO RELIGION HIGHER THAN  TRUTH, Web will
play an increasing role and members may have to look to the  Web for day to
day truth about TS News.
