We have seen some time ago on this list, the paragraph dealing with Radha
Burnier's health. While I have not seen any concrete statement about Radha
becoming weaker later on, it should not be any surprise to anyone.

The key issue that started the message traffic here is the personal (lay
man's/woman's) opinions of some of the GC members that Radha is sick both
mentally and physically and hence she should not be elected, which was sent
to the membership with a view to affect the outcome of the election.

Subsequently three independent highy respected physicians from two
continents (one a highly regarded GS of a Section) certified Radha fit.The
same members failed to communicate this important professional information
to the members so that members can decide for themselves whom they want to
vote for.

This resulted in many members losing the trust in the GC members/leaders
about their even handed justice in dealing with members. The situation
became worse when we all found out, to our shock and surprise, that some of
the nominators of Radha's opponent, had submitted to the GC meeting, a
highly secret proposal to speedily disenfranchise all of us as well as
radically change the rules so as to make the President a puppet in the hands
of a few GC members.

In the current situation with a very low level of trust in the leaders,
members are skeptical and vigilant and wonder what else is going on behind
closed doors which will affect all of us, as well as the TS and Theosophy
detrimentally.
