INDIAN SECTION RESPONDS TO JOHN ALGEOS MIS-INFORMATION
Mr.John Algeo,
Dear Brother,
This is in continuation of our message sent on 2/08/2008, which you responded by your message on 8/08/2008.
A statement from you on "The Future of T.S and Changes to Rules" (undated but presumably of Sept/Oct 2008) has come to our notice.
In the penultimate paragraph of the statement, we find you continue to point an accusing finger towards the Indian Section and its administration.
This is very unfortunate and need a thorough check on your part of the facts and opinion.
Four incongruities are prominently visible in your statement:-
You say "Now President is actually elected by the Indian Section, whose numbers seem to out number those in all the rest of the world combined".
The total number of eligible votes the world over was 20724, of which India has only 9061. Thus 11663 votes are outside India.
How does India outnumber?
You say "According to some former Officers at Adyar, they do not have accurate records of the Indian Section"
This needs further data of evidence
You say " Even some Indian members have confirmed about the way the Indian vote is taken, as not in accordance with the international rule
How the Indian Section violated the International rules needs elucidation
You say "?? not to leave it to one section only (however important that section may be), whose voting procedure is different from that used everywhere else".
The Indian Section never claimed to be 'important'.
What was the difference in procedure adopted here that departs from that of other sections or violation of rules?
This needs elaboration
You please clarify further on the facts of your statement, either rescind them or substantiate with factual figures and evidence.
We are pained to note that such unbecoming statement emanate from a vice-president of an organization that has a primary function " to form a nucleus of Universal Brotherhood of Humanity" without any distinction whatsoever.
We are not prepared to comment on your other remarks ? as to 'the change of rules', ' your thankfulness at being not elected', and 'following one's conscience' etc, at the moment.
Kindly note that you have deeply hurt the mind and heart of the members of the Indian Section
