  Despite lots of long standing curiosity, and interest of the many crystal skulls like "Max" and the rest for decades by a large host of everyday people recent scientific analysis has shown they all to be modern creations made in Europe, mostly in Germany.  I personally was quite intrigued by them and even have a paperback of the original research about "Max". but the facts have revealed mundane origins alas.
