I've been out of TS politics for ten years now and I have not missed it a  
bit.

Earlier I mentioned that I know some good people in India, but they
are  not encouraged because of politics. This was my observation. But
there is  also other side to it. 
I was requested by many officers to hold various  posts. I had always
declined it. I am 40 years old. And when I was offered  posts, I was
many years younger. So, even if politics is there in TS, I can  not
say that I was a victim of politics. If they did not want me,  they
would not have requested me. And I had always been outspoken.  Despite
that they encouraged me to hold post. 
Some other members of TS  had expressed their experience that they are
kept away from posts because  of politics. So condition in Theosophical
Society is complex. TS treats  different people in different ways at
different  places.
