Russian Orthodox Church also does this using the same arguments. They 
print in many thousand copies and widely distribute books in which not 
only theosophy but buddhism too are declared satanic.
All theosophists are officially expelled from the Church, so theosophy 
and christianity here are quite incompatible. Theosophy attracts those 
who seek explanation of paranormal phenomenons not requiring any 
belief in god.
