Radha was a follower of Krishnamurti for many years. According to her
own statements, which I received from people close to her, she became
President because Krishnamurti asked her to stand for the election of
the President of TS. And she got elected. Her policies and thoughts
are mixture of Krishnamurti's thinking and conventional Theosophy.
Conventional Theosophy is exactly opposite of Krishnamurti's
philosophy. So when these two got mixed, they created horrible mixture
in TS. You may study this important phenomenon,  in my article.
