Re: Theos-World Failure of J. Krishnamurti on the Path of Occultism

Martin,
Interestingly enough, bell bottom pants and beads do make a comeback
from time to time. But, having lived in the Haight/Ashbury during the
"Summer of Love," I would have to say that it was way "too hot not to
cool down." It was pure idealism, and we know that our material world
does not gladly welcome that. Nevertheless, it is certainly possible
that there are more people in the world who believe in Brotherhood
today than ever before. It may be the golden edge of the dawn of a
new age that we can sense impinging on the horizon, like the faint
glow before the dawn of each new day. There is a lot to go through as
the beast of the dying age of materialism and selfishness thrashes
its way to oblivion, but the hippies prefigured something that will
indeed arrive on earth, sooner or later. Imagine how thrilling to
realize that each one of us can be a part of that promise fulfilled,
just by being the best person we can be in our daily lives.
