Naturally, when a camera is set on infinity focus, the foreground
images would have to be out of focus.

The cloud cover reflecting sunlight at that distance would obliterate
all signs of land forms.

They used whatever low resolution analog video technology was
available in the late 60's -- which is nowhere near as sophisticated
as todays digital equipment or HDTV transmission.

Apparently, they were taken through side windows when the craft was
rolling over in space -- since in free fall after the main thruster
engines are jettisoned, a space craft doesn't have to face in any
particular direction until just before the landing, when side
thrusters are used to straighten the path. What use is there in
wasting valuable fuel during the main portion of the trip? The earth
shots were apparently taken when the space ship was less than halfway
to the moon.

Who knows what problems they had with the equipment -- which they
claimed was faulty to begin with. Besides, none of the astronauts
were professional photographers. Imagine holding and operating a
camera when you are floating inside a space ship cabin in free fall.

Hand held cameras are very difficult to hold steady when in free
fall. As for the changes in sphericity that could be due to seeing
the earth from an angle with the dark side making the light side seem
oval. As I saw the picture, the Earth was photographed from a
straight sided window, not a circular one as claimed in the hoax
films... And, it was obviously photographed from inside the actual
lander when it was seen to disappear past the edge of the rectangular
window as the craft rolled. I've studied pictures of the lander and
the windows were not round.

I think the evidence for an actual landing on the moon far outweighs
any evidence the conspiracy freaks have come up with.
