Re: Theos-World Bishop Leadbeater , Dr Besant and the entrapped mind.

Dear Cass

You write, "Yes Nigel, he must have been a really
powerful ego, as his influence has lasted this long."

Yes indeed, this is both a problem and an opportunity.

If we are genuine in our search for the truths
and mysteries, and not merely seeking the comfort and
safety of an external authority, we can use the example
of Bishop Leadbeater and his writings as an excellent
illustration of a warped and devious mind which entraps
in such clever and enticing ways.

Using reputable teachings to pursue his agenda his
guile is unsurpassed in theosophical literature.

And so many recognise it not!

For this reason, and at risk of tedium for regular
participants in this forum, he and his writings need
be exposed regularly for the sake of newcomers who may
log on at any time.

Thank you for contributing so often to this necessary
dialogue despite your discomfort.
Our shared experiences and feelings may be in the
minority, but at least they are heard for the sake
of others.

Kind regards and best wishes
Nigel
