Yes, but the attitude implies vegetarianism. There are egoistic
schools which practice vegetarianism for purification of bodies, but
our motive should be non-violence. So it's hipocritic to say that what
we eat doesn't matter much and quote the Gospel in support of it, for
as long we consume meat, we support the worldwide conveyer of
violence. If someone says that he eats everything because
vegetarianism alone doesn't lead to liberation, he thus manifest his
hidden selfish motives.
Of course, all abovesaid is not applicable to drugs and alcohol.
