Dear Konstantin,

Bolshoi spasibo for your very interesting and informative post. You 
make some good points, things a layperson such as myself would 
probably never think of. Clearly we are faced with a very complex and 
many faceted phenomenon,  with quite limited ability to understand 
all the aspects. It seems that Theosophy might be helpful, as we 
return to basic ideas, balance, accountability, self-responsibility, 
the Unity of all Life, compassion, for instance.

It has occurred to me lately, in considering all the publicity about 
Global Warming that becomes more and more pervasive, that in the main 
this may be a good thing for the evolution of  human consciousness, 
as you mention. No matter what the cause, it is quite evident from a 
theosophical point of view that continued greed and corruption can 
only generate destruction, and that the consciousness of unity, 
selflessness, and willingness to help are the only avenues to 
progress. Our work becomes more and more important as more and more 
people are looking for solutions to what seems to loom on the 
horizon, whatever the cause. 

Konstantin, I wonder if you are familiar with Delphis Foundation in 
Moscow? The Delphis Journal publishes very interesting articles on 
these themes and you might like to read them if you do not already. 
If you are interested, I could give you contact information.
