Well I don't recall seeing any posting of that nature at all. I did look at the archive and saw posts to the end of September. But the archive for October, and November was not available. I do recall Daniel saying he would be engaged in a substantial project for a period. If any saved a copy of the post about his demise can you repost it ? I would much appreciate it. I did do some searching of my own and found nothing to indicate his passing. I also saw no notice on his websites. I do remember reading an notice months ago of a Theosophist who passed away but it wasn't Daniel H. Caldwell.

I too was thinking about Daniel and how much his posts are missed. Sadly or Happily for Daniel, he passed away earlier in the year. You must have missed the post.
