Actually it was one of the Master's better practical jokes. One wrote Mrs.
Besant and the other wrote Judge and they told each of them that they were
going to be the head of the TS. The resulting fight caused almost as much
laughing in the ashram as when HPB fell through the floor of the outhouse and got
stuck.
