Well, let us trace that lineage a bit further, shall we? Articles on the
N rays (Blondot), before that it was the od (Reichenbach) and the ether
(until the infamous Michelson-Morley experiment) - and before that it
was against the existence of meteorites because stones could not
possibly fall from the skies.
