Basil Crump has attempted to condense the comprehensive system 
outlined in Blavatsky's "The Secret Doctrine" by reducing its 
bulkiness and obtrusiveness. The Theosophical evolutionary scheme is 
contained in a relatively small number of stanzas from the Archaic 
Records, which he has included herein with HPB's explanatory 
commentaries, and other relevant material from the Secret Doctrine.
