I always have just loved to hear Vonda Urban lecture. She would lecture at the TSA in America headquarters in Wheaton, Illinois about once a year. She was always well attended, and she always brought FREE pamphlets and books with her. She has a very stylish, almost European [French] and regal bearing, and is very lady-like, especially in these metro-sexual days of pants and leggings on women. I remember the day when we would NEVER wear slacks, or heaven-forbid, shorts or jeans, into the city, or to work or church. Vonda has always resisted the manly aggressive look. Though I have never attended her home meetings, they are very well attended in Chicago, where she lives. She was taking care of a brother that needed much assistance. I do not know whether she is still doing that.

Path online, Vonda U.
As Dan said (below) Theosophical University
Press has put Judge's "The Path" online,
as well as some early Tingley / Point Loma
magazines. TUP might be the smallest of
the big 3 TS, but put online the most material.
I've been around for a while, and I've
never even seen an issue of the Path,
and it was by one of the founders. They
are PDF and average about 1.8 mb per
issue of the 120 issues, or ten years.
They are scans put into PDF, which is
probably the best way to have permanent
archive copies. However they aren't the
easiest to read, and the Adobe "copy to
text function" is a joke. Higher quality
scans would make the files too large.
Everything is a compromise!
I heard from Vonda Urban, who Ken,
Eldon and quite a few others know. She
was an associate of all the old Point Loma
people, and wrote a good deal for Zirkoff's
"Theosophia" and also some in the "Eclectic."
She is 88 and still active with a couple
meetings a week, although under the weather
currently. She said to say "Hi" to people
who know her.
Cass's story was funny about the
drugist and how things work out.
Synchronistically, had just read a Kipling
story about the same thing. Someone
got someone else's pocket watch (in old
India), had a horse-wreck, the watch
went flying under some woman's window,
discovered, and the innocent real owner
of the watch became half-wrecked with
a false reputation of a peeping tom.
They had a short-lived TV series on
several years ago about a guy named
"Chance" who was continually surrounded
by such occurences, also a current
series, similar to "Groundhog Day of
Murray's - "Day One" (?)
