Speculations apart, the matter of the fact is that both Boris de Zirkoff and TPH Adyar had strong reasons to abandon, as they did, the fake edition of "The Secret Doctrine" prepared under the name of Annie Besant.
Boris de Zirkof did a great editorial job.
