The quote below is ascribed to Abraham Lincoln, and it is especially significant to theosophists, who are often inclined to idealize things, or to deny mistakes and chalenges in the movement.
"How many legs does a dog have if you call the tail a leg?" asks A. Lincoln.
And he answers:
"Four. Calling a tail a leg doesn't make it a leg."
Yes -- some common sense helps.
