3 Different Versions of Theosophical History
by 3 Different Theosophical Publishers
--------------------------------------------

Consider the following three books that give three different VERSIONS
of Theosophical history:

(1) A Short History of the Theosophical Society 1875 - 1938 by
Josephine Ransom (Adyar TS view)

(2) H. P. Blavatsky and the Theosophical Movement by Charles J. Ryan
(Point Loma TS view)

(3) The Theosophical Movement 1875 -1950. (ULT view)

One can see the "view" given in each of the above histories also
REFLECTED in the authors published (or not published) by the
following three Theosophical publishers:

(a) THEOSOPHICAL PUBLISHING HOUSE, Adyar, Madras, India
Authors include: Blavatsky, Besant, Leadbeater.... (but NO Judge,
Tingley, dePurucker, or Crosbie books)

(b) THEOSOPHICAL UNIVERSITY PRESS, Pasadena, California
Author include: Blavatsky, Judge, Tingley, de Purucker.... (but NO
Besant, Leadbeater, or Crosbie books)

(c) THEOSOPHY COMPANY, Los Angeles, California
Authors include: Blavatsky, Judge, Crosbie....(but NO Besant,
Leadbeater, Tingley, or de Purucker books)

So the "view" of Theosophical history adopted by a Theosophical group
is also found in the authors they publish or don't publish.
