Mark,
I would like to question one or two of your assertions, below.
Mark Jaqua <proto37@yahoo.com> wrote: Re: Cass's 30 years, bAILEY
Cass writes (nov. 27):
----------
<Carl,
I am in Melbourne, my copies are not first
editions, but they state Isis Unveiled
"The present edition is a faithful reprinting
of Isis Unveiled as originally published
in New York in 1877." and The Secret
Doctrine states "Verbatim with the original
edition,1888" I have had them for over
30 years.

and (Nov. 30):
-----------
<Joe and Elsie [[Melbourne]] were my mentors
and I am wondering if they are still
around. Would you know. Joe has years and
years of theosophical knowledge and I
miss his talks and his easy way of
explaining abtruse problems.>
---------
Geez Cass, "30 years"?, when I first
joined theos-talk several months ago, you
wrote me implying that you were new to
Theosophy and were looking for a teacher (I
said stick with the class you were in.)
N'est ce pas? Good ethics? Maybe it was
the old scam-mentality of "Lets make
a fool of this guy."
Cass: Where have I stated that I was new to Theosophy? I may have said that I am a student of Theosophy, which I am, and I consider 30 years of study, a drop in the ocean!
bAILEY:
I consider her and her work (probably
channeled from a left-hand earth-bound elementary
- a dead occultist) - to be EVIL. Everyone
falls for good old Polyanna, buttered up with
flamboyant horse shat. As for how many of
her books have I read - you only have to
smell horse shat once to know what it is....
Mental slavery is the worse of all slavery,
but unfortunately people actually seek it, and
the weak-minded seek it flamboyant phoney
and imaginary masters, the 'great white
heirarchy,' and the like.
Cass: I never wrote the above passage, presumably you did. I wouldn't presume to know how Alice Bailey received her knowledge.
- Why do all my reposts (reposting what I
am responding to) get cut or altered in theos-talk
digest?
Cass: I am not guilty of this crime, if I am responding to a particular quote in a particular email by a particular person on a particular subject, I assumed that the receiver would get the gist of the message, seeing it was a response to the same individual.
Cass- jake j.
